The Flair Black Magic is a vintage trainer. This model is built and ready to fly. It has a 60” wing span with rudder, elevator and throttle control, and powered by a Thunder Tiger GP15 which is brand new and never been run. It is fitted with Sanwa receiver, three servos, receiver battery, switch harness and fuel tank. The Sanwa RD 6000 Super is a computerised 35Mhz R/C system which is in perfect condition and has had very little use. It is Mode 2 with 6 channels, 8 model memory, transmitter battery, receiver and receiver battery and charger for both batteries. With instruction book. It has lots of features too many to list. The Flight Box is a wooden one which has been used. It is fitted with a Ripmax pump panel incorporating a fuel pump, 0 – 5 Amp ammeter and glow start charger terminals. There is a Magnum high torque electric starter and a Yusua NP6 – 12 sealed 12volts 6Ah lead-acid battery to provide the power. There is a Ripmax Glo starter 1.24volts 2800mA and two other glow plug leads, one gallon of Southern Modelcraft MO-Glo Fuel 5% Nitro caster for two or four stroke motors. This is an ideal complete starter set-up for anyone wishing to take up flying model aircraft. |

A semi-scale vintage style 70” model designed by Alex Weiss and built from a Super Plan presented in Radio Modeller. There was a competition for all Bernhardt B2's built, which I entered, and won second prize with my model. The used plan is available and the letter confirming the competition result is also available. The model has a spruce open construction fuselage and a sprung undercarriage. The servos for rudder, elevator and throttle are fitted and all linkages. The fuel tank is also fitted. It has no other radio gear included. The model is fitted with a brand new, never run O.S. 40 Surpass Four Stroke glo engine and wooden propeller complete with instruction book, tools and transfers. |
