Fibreglass hull and deck, with some superstructure in ply/plasticard, for a Tyne class lifeboat model @ 1/12th scale (4ft. long). I’m pretty sure that its one of these but can’t be absolutely certain. http://business.virgin.net/metcalf.mouldings/tyne.htm

It comes complete with Model Boats David Metcalf plan for 47-006, (enlarged to suit), and copy of F.B.M. marine drawing FBM6785 of 47-038 at 1/20th scale. The model was rescued some time ago from an angler who was about to convert it to a “Bait Boat”. It has no prop tubes, motors, rudders, etc. and the paint is badly scratched in places, though the hull and deck are basically sound. Given some T.L.C. and completion by a  modeller, this would make a very impressive boat. Because of its less than pristine condition the lot is open to offers, silly if you wish, and will be sold from this one advert. Post and packing would be exorbitant so really it should be collected from the Rochdale area or I could possibly, but not definitely, arrange for it to be taken to one of the Northern District Winter League IOM yacht races.
