ROUND THREE Another cold day at the lake with a decent, if what squally wind, coming from the North. Some rain showers interspersed a somewhat miserable Spring Day. When is it going to warm up so that the other yachters can come out of hibernation. Number one sails were deployed, and we had to be on our toes as the squalls came through. Only four of us today, 3 on vacation in warmer climes and chuckling away at our demise. As can be seen from the score sheet, most of us had our moment of glory coming first on the list. Tim Gregg has just acquired a yacht and is polishing his skills, someone to keep an eye on in the near future. Roger Crates was sailing a brand new yacht that he has built from scratch, it went extremely well, but he could sail a brick and still win. Cold weather stopped play about 13.30hrs and we all went home to warm up, hoping for some warmer weather next week.
